LGU Alitagtag Joins Handa Pilipinas 2025 Luzon Leg in Baguio City
Representatives from Alitagtag MDRRMO and MENRO participated in the Handa Pilipinas 2025 Luzon Leg held in Baguio City from August 7 to 9, 2025. The national theme of the forum was “HANDA Pilipinas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Innovations in Climate and Disaster Resilience Nationwide Exposition 2025.”
The 3-day event brought together innovators, communities, and stakeholders to highlight the role of science, technology, and innovation (STI) in building a smarter and more disaster-resilient Luzon. Activities included technology exhibits, capacity-building sessions, forums, and the launch of innovative Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation (DRR-CCA) projects.
The event emphasized the importance of collaboration and innovation in building a proactive, prepared, and resilient Bagong Pilipinas.
